Summer Youth Group Note:
Summer youth group will be at Germantown Municipal Park. While our primary focus in planning this weekly activity is fellowship, we will also be including times of worship, prayer, and devotion each Wednesday night. Although our meeting place is one of recreation, we haven't lost our focus on Christ. While fellow-shipping at the park, we want to be a visible presence in the community.
We transitioned into this format last summer during Wednesday's at the Linn's and it seemed to work well. So we thought we would give it another try. The youth are still receiving great teachings on Sunday mornings in church and also in the Sunday School hour. And in the fall, our formal Wednesday night study will resume with a study taught by our new Youth Director Reid Greenslade.
